Have you heard of sun tea? It is this super easy way to make delicious home-brewed ice tea at home using few ingredients and the power of the sun. We visited my mother-in-law a few weekends ago, and she told me how to make this delicious drink!
She poured me a glass one of the nights we were there and it was love at first sip – as soon as I got home I decided to make a batch of my own…and then another…and then another…you get the idea. Then I wanted to share it all with you, so here is the recipe and video to help walk you through the super easy process!
How to Make Sun Tea
Easy Sun Tea
2 quarts filtered water
6 organic tea bags (I like this kind)
Mint Leaves for Garnish (optional)
1. Place your tea bags in a medium size glass container that will hold two quarts of water.
2. Fill the glass container with filtered water.
3. Place on a window sill in your home for 8 to 12 hours in the sun.
4. Boom! Sun Tea! Store in the fridge and enjoy over ice and with mint leaves.
Enjoy a nice cold refreshing glass!
